Visited during summer around 4pm, there was no wait in line. Ordered Bakso (meatball soup), which was my favorite, Soto Ayam (chicken soup), and took away Ayam Goreng (fried chicken), which was also very good. The price was affordable. The portions were generous and the flavors were authentic. The place was clean and comfortable with wall decorations showcasing Indonesian culture. The staff were friendly and helpful.

As we know, mom & pop stores always hit the spot and this was the case with Warung Indo as well. Such a hidden gem with amazing authentic Indonesian cuisine. The guy handling the front was very friendly and answered all our questions with patience as we tried to pick through the menu. He also checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality was unmatched and my husband and I loved chatting with him. As for the food, we tried a variety of items- Beef Rendang, Nasi Goreng, Patagonia and Cendol and everything was great. Would love to visit again!

Had an amazing lunch, food is excellent and authentic, felt like I was back in Indonesia. If you have not tried Indonesian food this is the place to go. Bakso, reminded me of street food in Jakarta, super good. My wife is from there and absolutely loved it. Will be a go to spot for us. Can't wait to return and try everything on the menu. Food is reasonably priced, we had several dishes and none disappointed.

It's my second time trying Indonesian food, but it's my first time at this restaurant. My company and I ordered the following: Soto Ayam chicken noodle soup - I can say that this soup broth is very tasty and rich in flavor. Nasi Goreng Cakalang - The tuna flakes tasted like it's been smoked or fried, and it does compliments well with the fried rice. Nasi Bakar chicken - spicy chicken with plain rice wrapped inside the banana leaves and grilled. The juice of the spicy chicken soaks up the rice, and the scent of grilled banana leaves added up in a unique flavor combination, which makes this dish authentic and delicious. Es cendol and Es campus - Both are refreshing, not that sweet, and delicious. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. The owners are both nice and friendly.

We went here for lunch to try out Indonesian food. I ordered the Bakst bakar (beef meatballs with soy sauce and peanut sauce) and mpek mpek (fish cake with glass noodles and cucumber). They were pretty good. My colleagues ordered other dishes and liked what they ordered. Our waiter was patient and answered our many questions. I will definitely come back to try their other dishes.

My son lived in Indonesia for 18 months and came back to Houston craving anything from the country he now loved! This restaurant made him SO happy. The food was absolutely delicious, the owners came and spoke to him about where he lived and we had the best night! We will be back! 10/10!!!

We were in town for Spring Break and wanted to try an Indonesian resto since Houston has a much larger Indo population than where we live. So there has to be a restaurant, right??! Warung Indo was excellent! We tried to pick and order a variety of items, but were too stuffed from eating the food. We did take some food to-go. The owner was very nice and had gladly provided us plates for when we got back to the hotel. Highly recommend for authentic Indonesian cuisine!
